Esther Marshall
Head Physiotherapist & Pilates Teacher
Esther qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2005 with a BSc honours degree from the University of Manchester. She has worked in both the NHS and private practice since qualification, building up a variety of skills and knowledge in musculoskeletal medicine.
In 2008 Esther trained with the AACP to use acupuncture as part of her treatment and studied for a diploma in orthopaedic medicine in 2009.
Esther has been teaching APPI Pilates since 2011 and is passionate about the use of Pilates in helping people rehabilitate from pain and injury. She loves that Pilates teaches the body to move well in order to stay fit, healthy, supple and strong. Esther teaches different Pilates classes to suit all abilities including prenatal and postnatal classes.
Since having her own children in 2016 and 2018, Esther has undertaken more training and research into postnatal recovery after discovering many of her friends were struggling with pelvic floor dysfunction, pain, weakness and struggling to get back to feeling fit and strong. She has since developed programmes to support women regain pelvic floor functionality, heal any abdominal separation and rebuild strength and confidence throughout the body.
