Carolyn qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist with a BSc honours degree from the University of Manchester in 2003.  She has since gained extensive experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy both in the NHS and the private sector.

Carolyn enjoys treating a variety of conditions but has a specialist interest in post operative rehabilitation following orthopaedic surgery as well as knee injuries.  She enjoys helping clients achieve their goals in order to return to full function of daily life.

 

Ten years ago Carolyn trained in acupuncture and became a member of the AACP which allows her to use acupuncture as part of her treatment repertoire.

​

She is trained to teach pilates on a 1:1 basis as well as classes and is also a qualified FitBack and Bumps Instructor.  This enables her to carry out antenatal and postnatal educational and exercise classes.

​

Outside of physiotherapy, Carolyn enjoys family life with her husband and two young sons, playing hockey and baking cakes!
